Apple Watch guided tours: as much sales tool as educational tool

I have been watching and reading reactions to the Apple Watch guided tours. It strikes me that these videos are as much sales tools as educational tools. I watched my wife's attitude, for example, go from "eh, seems cool" to "when can I get one!" Here's another reaction that captures my point:

I've compared these guided tours to the original iPhone guided tours. But they are also different in a key way. They are broken into short little one-plus minute videos. By breaking the tours into such short videos, I think Apple has greatly magnified there usefulness as sales tools. They explain - perhaps better than any keynote or ad so far - what Watch can do and why you may want one.
